Widely noted for his work in the area of liposuction surgery, David Amron, MD, today practices medicine and cosmetic surgery at two clinics that he serves as co-owner: the Beverly Hills Doctors Surgery Center and Spalding Cosmetic Surgery and Dermatology, both located in Beverly Hills, California. Prior to bringing his innovative techniques and sense of aesthetics to these offices, Dr. David Amron spent four years at Mid Valley Dermatology and Cosmetic Surgery Center, a private practice in Sherman Oaks, California. Dr. David Amron earned his Doctor of Medicine from the Albert Einstein College of Medicine in the Bronx, New York, after completing his Bachelor of Arts in Biology from the University of California, San Diego. The University of California, Los Angeles is among the other institutions he has attended. Upon receipt of his medical degree, David Amron, MD, earned placement in a residency at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles, working in the Department of Medicine. Subsequently, Dr. Amron served as both a Postgraduate Research Fellow in the Division of Dermatology and a Staff Research Associate for the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA, among other accomplishments. He completed his dermatology residency at the University of California, San Diego in 1995.
In 1990, Dr. David Amron received a Dermatology Foundation research fellowship for his project, “Tumor-Stromal Interactions in Skin Cancer.” For this study, conducted over the course of a year, Dr. David Amron utilized the resources of the Dermatology Foundation and Herbert Laboratories, his sponsor, to gain insights into questions involving skin care. Certified by The American Board of Dermatology, Inc. as well as the National Board of Medical Examiners, David Amron, MD, has published a number of papers, including “Stratospheric Ozone Depletion and Its Relationship to Skin Cancer,” which appeared in the Journal of Dermatologic Surgery & Oncology, and “Maffucci’s Syndrome: Two Case Reports With a Literature Review,” which was published in the Journal of the American Academy of Dermatology.
